Wayne Allen Barlow

Wayne Allen Barlow, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Marion General Hospital. He was born on October 30, 1939, in Marion, OH to the late Calvin and Sadie (Saunders) Barlow.

On October 8, 1977 Wayne married the love of his life, Evelyn Waugh who he has dearly missed since July 9, 2020

Wayne was employed at Deyco in Upper Sandusky, Ohio for over 50 years and retired at the young age of 80 to help care for his wife.

In his free time he enjoyed taking his 1953 MG replica to car shows with his brothers, Fred and Larry, he enjoyed many years of raising and caring for exotic birds with his wife Evelyn, he loved and adored his family furbabies Mick and Mickey. Wayne spent many years planting and caring for his yard and was so proud of his flower beds and fish pond. A master of woodworking, he was always in his wood shed creating and building wood projects for his home and family members. Wayne was always up for a good laugh and he enjoyed picking on his family members more than anything.

Wayne is survived by his children; Robin (the late Bob) Williams, Laura Sedlock, Terry (Tina) Barlow, Tonya Barlow, Leslie Blanc, Connie (Mike) Harter, Verna (Darrell) Ashba, Janet Parish, and Scott (Shana) Parish, brothers; Fred Barlow and Larry (Lorene) Barlow, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife Evelyn Barlow, his parents; Calvin and Sadie Barlow, son Allen Barlow, daughter Marilynn Dewitt, sisters; Leola Kelly, Wanda Schuler, Catherine Gantt, son in law Bob Williams and a great-great granddaughter Lilly Tefft.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 26, 2022, at Edwards Funeral Service, 318 Mt. Vernon Ave., Marion, OH 43302 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, with a service to follow at 1:00 PM. Burial will take place at Green Camp Cemetery.
