Todd William Coleman

Todd William Coleman was born December 27, 1962 in Charleston WV.  He passed away at home July 2, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was the youngest son of the late Alfred & Lucille Coleman.

Todd owned and operated Affordable Carpet Care Steam Cleaning business, which put him in position to do what he loved; talking to people and making friends with everyone he serviced.  He also worked for ULG Companies LLC as a solder & forklift operator.  He was also a team leader at Nex Transport.

His passion was being out on the river in his boat with a fishing pole in hand, hunting and shopping in Amish country Mary’s.

He was united in marriage to his best friend & sweetheart Maria Jones.  He was born 8th of 9 children. Sheila Coleman, OH, Zaida Walker, WV, Gregory Coleman, OH, Deborah Barron, OH, Ferne (Lester) Alexander, IL, Roxann (Lamont) Shelton, OH, Keith (Peggy) Coleman, OH, and Carmen (Michael) Megginson, OH.  Also raised along-side him was Annette (Karl) Jackson, Carl White, Jerry Stewart, & Calvin Mopkins.

He was a loving father to his children Latoya Coleman, IL, Tondalai Coleman, IL, Todd William Coleman, Jr, OH, Ciana Coleman, OH and his step children Patrick Jones, TN and Dominique Ayers, OH; grandchildren Kamerion & Kalise Causey, IL, Kyren Robinson, IL, Terrance and Talerria Stewart, IL,  Justyce Lynch-Jones, OH, Zoie Curry-Jones, OH and Dream Ayers, OH and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Todd never met a stranger.  His electric personality would draw you in.  He had an infectious ability to make even the meanest person smile.  After being around him for but a moment, you were guaranteed to burst out in a loud laugh. It must be said, he loved West Virginia but was an avid OSU fan.

Celebration of Life will begin right at 11:00 AM on Saturday July 10, 2021 at Edwards Funeral Service 318 Mt. Vernon Ave., Marion, OH 43302. At the conclusion of the service a repast will be held at Free Will Baptist Church 1859 White Oaks Rd., Marion, Ohio 43302.
