Stephen R. Vance Sr.

On April 18th, Stephen R. Vance, Sr of Marion entered into God’s Kingdom at 67 years of age. He was born to Charles and Marcella “Joanne” Vance on July 18th,  1954, in Marion, Ohio.

After graduating Marion Harding High School, he worked at Marion Power Shovel.

A warrior throughout life, Stephen was a loyal servant to God, first and foremost.  He loved the church and loved sharing the love and warmth of our savior, Jesus Christ, with as many people as possible. He was an avid member of Liberty Baptist Church

Stephen is survived by his mother Marcella “Joanne”, his three Children; Amy (Ed) Haller, Stephen R. Vance Jr., Weston Vance, three granddaughters; Ashlin,  Hannah, Kennedy Price, grandson; Anthony Haller, sister; Lois (Chuck)  Blackburn, brother; Doug Vance, aunt; Mary Green, three Nieces; Charmaine  Oiler, Kourtnie Vance, Lindsay Vance, nephew; Bryen Vance; all of Marion

He joins his father, Charles R. Vance in heaven

A Celebration of Life will be held at Liberty Baptist Church with Pastor Braye on Saturday April 30, 2022, starting at 2pm. Dinner will follow at Grace Baptist Church.
