Stanley Eugene Williams

COLUMBUS- Stanley Eugene Williams, age 60, went home to be with the Lord on April 21, 2023, from Kobacker House Columbus, Ohio, after a battle with cancer. Stanley will be missed by his loving family and many friends. Stanley was an instructor at Columbus State Community College, a graduate of Franklin University, Columbus, Ohio, and received his Master’s Degree from Capella University. Preceded in death by his father Rev. Donald G. Williams, Sr. Survived by mother Barbara Ann (Clonch) Williams, of Marion, OH; Brian Duran companion and caregiver, and Jessica Rusell, caregiver, both of Columbus, OH; brothers: Donald G. Williams, Jr, of Columbus, OH, Ronald (Vicki) Williams, of Green Camp, OH, sister Brenda (Gary) Lyons, of Marion, OH, and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM, in Edwards Funeral Home, 318 Mt. Vernon Avenue, Marion, OH, where funeral services will follow at 4:00 PM, Gary Lyons presiding. Interment will take place at a later date, in Marion Cemetery, Marion, OH. Arrangements by Skunza Funeral Service, 5819 Emporium Square, Columbus, OH. Our family wishes to especially thank Brian and Jessica for their devoted care and love for Stanley during his illness, Thanks also to the staff of Kobacker House, nurses and doctors of Riverside Methodist Hospital.
