Sidney Devon Hickman

Sidney D. Hickman of 468 Park St., Marion, OH, formerly of 490 Decatur St., Marion, OH, passed away Tuesday morning June 7th, 2022, at Presidential Nursing Home. He was the son of Donald E. Hickman and Edith (Hodge) Hickman of Larue, OH.

On December 17th, 1988, he married Rosetta Williams (Burch) Hickman. He retired from Pillsbury- General Mills after 31 years at Martel, OH. He is survived by siblings Beth Lee Hickman, Eva Andrick Hickman of Marion, OH and brother Marvin Hickman of Ocala, FL.

Preceded in death by his parents, sister Mona Faye Weeks Hickman, brother Paul Hickman or Marion, and Janis Hickman of Tampa, FL, and  numerous nieces and nephews.

Wife Rosetta has 5 daughters, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren. Tonya, Tracey, Teresa, Tina, and Trista, he considered his own daughters. He was the best to them and his wife.

Visitation will be held on Monday June 13, 2022, at Marion Enterprise Baptist Church 130 Orton St., Marion, OH 43302 from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM. Service to begin at 1:00 PM, with burial to follow at Marion Cemetery.
