Rosa Ann Howard

Rosa Ann Howard, age 77, passed away on Thursday July 07, 2022 at Marion General Hospital. She was born on September 11, 1944 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Martha (Montgomery) and Arvel Russell.

Rosa is survived by her loving husband Hollie Howard of 61 years, children;  Randal (Candy) Howard, and Terry (Deanna) Howard, grandkids; Adam (Sherri) Howard, Aaron (Kendra) Howard, Corey (Courtney) Howard, and Emily (Dustin) Kepley, great grandkids; Teddy, Tommy, Whitney,  and Abby Howard, sisters; Dovie Howard and Maggie Jenkins, brothers;  Ronnie Russell, Herman (Dora) Russell, Don (Debbie) Russell, Doug (Pam) Russell , Dean (Jannie) Russell,  in-laws; Mahalie Moore,  Ed (Diane) Howard, Bonnie (Troy) Hall, Russell (Jannie) Howard, Hager (Marg) Howard,  James Lemaster, Romana Howard and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Martha and Arvel Russell, great grandson: Noah Howard, brother-in-laws: Wayne Howard, Ervin Jenkins, sister-in-law: Sue Russell, in-laws: Reva Adams, Leatha Smith, Jessie Howard, Oscar Howard, and Barb Lemaster.

She was a devoted member of First Freewill Baptist Church, worked at Maplewood Nursing Home for 24 years as a dietary supervisor, married on April 28, 1961 to Hollie Howard, Rosa loved her family, her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids, she was also very close with her brothers and sisters. A few hobbies that Rosa enjoyed include gardening, watching birds, cooking for the family and they loved eating it, and being on facebook to keep up with her family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 12, 2022 at First Freewill Baptist Church 1449 Crissinger Rd., Marion, OH 43302, from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, with a service to begin at 12:00 PM. Burial to follow at Marion Cemetery. Masks required per families request.
