Robert Steven Sly

Robert Steven Sly, 77, of Marion, Ohio, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 22, 2024. He was born on October 2, 1946 to Glen and Helen Sly in Marion. 

Robert married Nyoka Chafin and they shared many years together. 

He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golf. 

Robert is preceded in death by his late wife Nyoka; son, Rodney; and his parents, Glen and Helen.

He will be truly missed by his son Steve (Diane) Sly; daughters Joanne (Tony) Foust and Lisa Young; grandchildren, Trevor, Doni, Sharaden, Kelly Marie, Emilee, Garrett, and Hayden; several friends; and his beloved dog, Butch.

The family has requested that if you would like to attend Robert's graveside service, please meet at Grand Prairie Cemetery at 11:45 AM on Friday, July 26, 2024

In lieu of flowers, please donate towards the expenses of the funeral.
