Robert Gene Griffith

Robert  "Bob" Gene Griffith, age 82, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday November 30, 2021 at Presidential Post Acute. He was born in Marion, OH on March 29, 1939 to the late Earl and Caroline (Speidel) Griffith.

Robert had a passion for Cleveland Browns football team and baseball. He was born and raised in Marion. He worked at the Marion Power Shovel for 22 1/2 years before retiring.

Robert leaves behind his wife, Judy Griffith of Marion, three sons Dan Griffith of Marion, Scott (Carolyn) Griffith of Marion, and Terry (Cindy) Griffith of Florida, eight grandchildren, Tessa, Kinlee, Kimmy, Scott Jr., Alectra, Alexia, Kirsten, Kobe, 11 great grandkids, special nephew David (Carole) McPherson, and numerous nieces and nephews all of whom he adored.

He is preceded in death by his parents Earl and Caroline, five sisters and three brothers.

Visitation will be held on Monday December 06, 2021 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Service 318 Mt. Vernon Ave., Marion, OH 43302. Service will begin at 12:00 PM, with a burial to follow at Marion Cemetery.
