Richard A McQuistion

R A McQuistion, Age 87 passed away on Thursday October 7, 2021 at Marion General Hospital. He was born on January 19, 1934 in Marion, Ohio to Mary Louise and Ray L. Richard was a 1952 graduate from Mt. Gilead High School. Richard served in the Korean War from 1954 to 1956. Richard retired from Nation Can. Richard married Bonnilynn Cook on August 17, 1957 in Liberty, Indiana Richard enjoyed watching his Ohio State football games. Richard is survived by his wife Bonnilynn (Cook) McQuistion and his son Ray McQuistion and son Dale McQuistion and 2 brothers and 1 sister. Grandchildren; Derek Ray, Rusty Tyler, Roger J and Nicholas, and 7 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his sons, Mark Allen McQuistion and James L. McQuistion and his parents and 3 brothers and 1 sister. Richard is going to miss his little dog Molly.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday October 12, 2021 at Edwards Funeral Service, Hughes-Allen Chapel, 318 Mt. Vernon Ave, Marion, Ohio from 6PM - 8PM, services will be held the following day, Wednesday October 13, 2021 at the Funeral Home starting at 1PM with Pastor Rhonda Officiating. Burial will follow directly at Green Camp Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to Kindred Hospice of Marion.
