Rebecca Lee (Albright) Sutherland, age 28, of Marion, Ohio, was called home to the Lord on May 30, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. When she passed away, she was surrounded by family and friends.
Rebecca, who would only answer to her nickname "Becky," was born at Marion General Hospital on December 21, 1985 to Russell and Judy (Price) Albright of Marion, Ohio. Becky was a child filled with energy and spunk, whose dark, curly hair would bounce around with her if she didn't keep it pulled back.
Becky graduated from Marion Harding High School in June 2004, a little over a year after she started dating the love of her life, Kevin Sutherland, of Marion, Ohio. Kevin and Becky were married on May 24, 2005. Following a miscarriage, and then later the birth of her daughter, Kaitlynn Sutherland, Becky decided to return to school to earn a degree in accounting. After a few years, and the birth of her second child, Ryan Sutherland, she graduated from The Ohio State University in June 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree. She would later go on to attend law school at Ohio Northern University.
Becky had a spirit that was on fire. She never let anything get in the way of what she wanted to do, and she always got the final word in an argument - a reflection of her strong character and will. She was a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, who would help anyone she could, without asking for anything in return.
Becky is survived by her loving husband, Kevin Sutherland; her two wonderful children, Kaitlynn and Ryan Sutherland; her parents, Russell and Judy (Price) Albright; her sisters, Tabitha (Ricky) Heath, Jennifer Albright (Glenn Combs), and Kimberly (Austin) Tyree; her mother and father-in-law, Stephen and Linda (Tessier) Sutherland; her sister-in-law, Meaghan (Chris) Ventura; her brother-in-law, Michael (Kristina) Sutherland; and her nieces and nephews, Jason and Taylor Clark, Aleck Smith, Eryn Sutherland and Elizabeth Ventura.
She is preceded in death by one child, Baby "Dino" Sutherland; and four grandparents, William and Virginia Albright, and Marion and Betty Price.
Becky loved hard and held tight to her family and friends. When she loosened her grip and left this world, she left us all changed. But, that's what Becky did - she made an impression on every life she touched. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
