Ray William Lichtenberger

Ray William Lichtenberger, age 94, of Prospect passed away at his residence surrounded by loving family. He was born to the late Herbert and Stella (Benzler) Lichtenberger on October 27, 1925. He graduated from high school and soon joined the military. He was married to his love Virginia (Robinson) Lichtenberger, who survives.

He served in the Army in the Asiatic Pacific Theater, earning a good conduct medal. He was also known as a life-long farmer, and a member of the American Legion Post #605 of Waldo, OH.

Ray is survived by his sons Craig (Christine), and Joel (Brenda) Lichtenberger; his daughter Christina (Ronald) Pickett; his grandchildren Jacob and Katie Lichtenberger; and great-grandchild Rhea Selceda, all of whom will miss him dearly.

Preceded in death by his brothers Ralph and Paul Lichtenberger; his sister Dorothy Campbell.
