Peggy Myers

Peggy Myers, age 85, passed away April 19, 2018, at Kingston of Marion. She was born on August 30, 1932, in Norfolk, VA, to the late Hugh Burr and Jimmie Irene (Winslow) Burr. Peggy is preceded in death by her true love, husband Paul A. Myers Sr. Peggy is to be remembered for her love of the Lord and her family and for her tremendous strength of will — which she never hesitated to use in her service to the Lord or to protect her family.  Surviving her are her two sons Paul A. (Tammy) Myers Jr. (Canal Winchester) and David W.(Tena) Myers (Marion), grandchildren Jeremy (Emily) Myers of Waterford, Conn., Joshua (Alicia) Myers of Charlotte, N.C., Dustin Myers of Columbus, Olyvia Myers of Groveport, Ohio, Aimee Hills (Julian) of Marion and Rodney Wilson (Cindy) of Centerburg, Ohio, and great grandchildren Madelyn, Alyson and Lauryn Myers of Waterford; Bailee Wilson of Bexley, Ohio; Johnny Reiser of Marion; and Dylan, Caitlyn and Chloe Wilson of Centerburg. A celebration of life will be held on June 24 at 1 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church in Marion where Peggy was a long-time member.  Her family wishes to thank the medical professionals of Marion General Hospital, Kindred Healthcare, Kingston of Marion and Capital City Hospice for their tremendous support and care.  Anyone wishing to make a donation in honor of Peggy can contribute to the American Cancer Society.
