Paula Hupp

Paula Hupp was brought into this world November 10, 1950 and departed this world on February 9th, 2021. She was born in Marion, Ohio to Winnie Mae (Shields) and John Thurman Decker. Paula was the youngest of a his, hers, and ours family. Her siblings include Bill (Ricky ) Chapman, Orville/ Butch (Judy) Decker, Karen ( Dean ) Hickman, Georgiana ( Jim ) Darst, and Judy Holtsberry. She went to Harding high school. Her later years she spent retired and loved by her surviving daughter and grandsons. She was a spitfire and a handful to all those who knew her, but boy, she loved her grandsons. As they grew, their pictures slowly replaced those of her daughter on the wall. Don’t worry though, the daughter snuck some back.
She spent most of her time browsing the isles of Goodwill and the clearance section at Walmart with her daughter and would take off so her daughter would have to walk the stores trying to find her. She was full of love and life. She also filled her day speaking with her niece and nephew. Those moments were very special to her. Those that preceded death before her were her parents, her brothers Butch and Bill and their spouses , her twin daughters Collette and Carrie, and her beloved dogs. She has now joyously joined her daughters, her parents, and her Aunt and Uncle whom she loved dearly.  Left to survive her include her sister Karen Hickman. Judy Holtsberry also survives. Her daughter Brandi (Chesser) (Jody) Spaulding, her grandsons Jacob Deem and Aden Chesser. Her nieces and nephews whom she was just as close too. She will be greatly missed.

Calling hours will be Monday February 15, 2021 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints located at
1725 Marion-Edison Rd, Marion, OH 43302, from 1-2 pm with the funeral following at 2. Food will be served at her daughters house located at 2157 Firstenberger road Marion, Ohio 43302 following funeral services.
