Patty Jean Keil (Parks) of Marion, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, December 26th, just after noon.
Patty (Jeanie), was a graduate of Alger High School, class of 1963. She was a member of the cheerleading squad, marching band and Honor Society, receiving state recognition for her scholastic achievements. She worked in retail sales management, retiring from JCPenney’s, then Nichol’s and Ashley Furniture stores in Marion.
Jeanie had 3 children, Karen Cury, Ann Poling, and Donovan (Rusty) Poling, two step-children, Chris (Breckner) and Randy Keil.
Patty Jean was one of 6 children, proceeded in death by her parents, Olis (Ed) Parks, and Ouida (Pat) Whitley Parks, her brothers, Robert Parks and Thomas Parks, her sister Joyce Hall, and her grandson, Logan Whitley Earl. She is survived by 2 sisters, Jo Ann Beerman, and Shirley Godwin.
Jeanie is also survived by her grandchildren, Kira Fleming-Sawesky, Christian Cury, Courtney Thacker, Justin Poling, and Logan Poling, great grandchildren Clover Collins and Theodore Sawesky.
Services will be held at Edwards Funeral Service (Hughes-Allen Chapel) at 318 Mt. Vernon Ave. Marion, Ohio on Saturday, January 2nd, 2021. Viewing starts at 2pm and a small service will be at 4pm with live stream @ www.facebook.com/edwardsfuneralservice
