Michael Solomon Draper Sr

Michael S. Draper, age 62, of Marion, passed away at his home on December 17, 2014 after a brief illness. Born on April 2, 1952 in Marion to Charles S. and Viola (Tombs) Draper, he served his country during the Viet Nam Conflict as a member of the United States Marine Corps. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers; Robert Anthony, Loyd Anthony and Charles Draper, 2 sisters; Garnett Duncan and Jane James and a step-son; Kevin McMurray. Surviving are his wife; Wilma J. Draper of Marion, 2 sons; Michael (Patricia) Draper of Marion and Albert Draper of California, his daughter; Viola (Joseph) Franklin of Kenton, his brother; Gary Draper of Mississippi, 6 sisters; Grace Spears, Beulah Millisor and Darlene Draper, all of Marion, Linda Howett of Pennsylvania, Sharon Brown of Florida and Helen Knight of Zanesville, 4 step-children; Lester McMurray, Dorothy McMurray, Lisa Mullins and Starla Mullins, 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and 12 step-grandchildren.
