Mary Louise Faggs

Mary Faggs, 75 years old, gained her wings and went home to be with the Lord April 11th, 2022 at 5:58 AM.

Mary was born June 10th, 1946 in Attapulgus, Georgia, to the late Clinton L. and Barbara A. (McGee) Faggs Sr. Mary was a graduate of Harding High School. She lived in Miami, Florida and eventually moved to Marion in 1980. Mary worked in health care for several different states, Chicago, Ill., and Florida.

Mary loved to sit on her porch doing puzzles and caring puppy, Poppi. She has always loved her animal and treated them like gold. She was a devoted homemaker. With Mary you never had to wonder where you stood with her because she didn’t mind letting you know. To know her was to love her. She was a very private person, once you were in, you were in!

She leaves to mourn, a sister, Martha (the late Rosco) Clemons, one son Andrea (Phylis) Faggs of Chicago, Ill., a granddaughter Eboni (Faggs) Boston of Miami, FL., grandson Jerell Smart of Dayton, OH., three great grandchildren, Samantha, Talaya and Travis.

She is preceded in eternal rest by her parents Clinton L. and Barbara A. (McGee) Faggs Sr., three brothers Clinton L. “Jr” (Norma J.) Faggs Jr., Ulysses “Slick” Faggs, both of Marion, OH., and Leon “Black” Johnson of Hammon, Louisiana.

Visitation will be held on Monday April 18th, 2022 at Edwards Funeral Service 318 Mt. Vernon Ave., Marion, OH 43302 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM., service to begin at 12:00 PM. with Pastor Mike Wade officiating.
