Mark Anthony Waddle, age 65, went to be with the Lord on September 10, 2017. He was a 1971 graduate of Harding High School. As an Army veteran, he spent most of his service time in Germany. He had been employed at Wyandot Popcorn before spending his later years at home. Mark, who didn’t have children of his own, enjoyed being the uncle who spoiled each of his nieces and nephews at one time or another. Mark made a profession to Jesus Christ and was baptized in his youth. Although his nieces and nephews knew the true meaning of the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, they later discovered Mark took joy in being their own personal fictitious Easter Bunny. Known as the good neighbor and the caring friend who gave from his heart, he took on the title of professional chef when it came to baking the family gathering holiday ham. At special events in this sister’s home, Mark was the all time favorite grill cook. He enjoyed his discovery that the grill cook is never without friends. This man’s heart was warmed when his mom called him “My little Markie”. Even though he came from quite a “large special mix of family”, he bypassed siblings to let his best friend be his Dachshund named Sweet Pea. Nobody would dare argue that he is a highly dedicated fan of the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes. He spent game times texting his sister, Linda to discuss player’s good and bad moves and would text his sister, Mary weekly during Shark Tank and America’s Got Talent to debate who might be worthy to sell a product or go further into the winner’s circle. Mark will be missed.
