Kenneth Thompson

Kenneth Thompson passed away in his home on June 29, 2023 at the age of 72 after a short courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Kenneth. He loved a quiet evening with his wife with a glass of wine or a beer in hand, camping on the weekends, and gatherings with family. He had an uncanny ability to liven up a room, always doing something silly to get his kids and grandkids laughing. Definitely the life of the party. An avid reader you could often find him reading, a love he passed onto some of his kids and grandkids. And boy did he love to dance, whether at his house or a night on the town, if there was music, he was likely dancing. His pleasant personality was contagious to everyone he met.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife Patricia, daughters Lorie Flores, Tracie (Gary) Eichenberger, Carrie (Daniel) Wilson, Jackie (Chad) Hatten; as well as many grandkids, great grandkids; sisters Donna (Mike) Queen, Ruth Dunn and Mary (Russell) Ward, Pat Burke along with several nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by his only son John Amos and siblings Fred Thompson, Faye Welch, Charles Thompson, Leonard Thompson, Doris Thompson and Alice Blanton.
