Kathleen (Barker) Stewart

Kathleen Stewart, age 69, passed away Sunday at her home in the arms of her loving husband of 47 years; David Stewart. She is survived by her two sons; Tavis and Brock and three wonderful grandchildren; Alissa, Torrance and Foster. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and doting grandmother who loved baking cookies and playing games with her grandkids. Kathie loved to travel and host parties for family and friends but will be most remembered as the person who always put everyone else’s needs first and was the most caring and nurturing person you will ever know. She was loved and will be truly missed.  The family plans to have a private gathering in her memory.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Kathie’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project; two charities Kathie supported and meant a lot to her.
