J'Veaune Malik Tayvon Braddy-Faggs, aka Jay Boogie, age 14, passed away unexpectedly at Marion General Hospital on January 19, 2020 in Marion, OH. Born to Chaitra Faggs on April 16, 2005.
An independent and bright child, J'Veaune was adorably charming and known to be super funny and free spirited. He loved playing basketball, playing practical jokes on his siblings, hanging out with friends and spending time with Great Grandpa Dave eating pizza and chocolate. His gigantic personality was felt every time he walked into a room. J'Veaune was a freshman at Marion Harding High School.
Sadly mourning his loss, J'Veaune is survived by his mother, Chaitra B. Faggs; a brother Jacquavion "Q" Braddy; sister Pa'Shantz "PayPay" Brown Faggs; his grandparents , Devin and Barbara Jones; great grandparents Dave Fouts, "Granddad", Wilma Jones and Wilma Baker; four uncles, Devin (Diane) Faggs, Tim Jones, Jordan Oliver and Brandon Dyer; an aunt Diamond (Jake) Jones; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and step siblings, plus a guinea pig named Buddy.
He is preceded in death by his Great Grandmother, Norma Faggs-Fout, Great Grandfather Clinton L. Faggs Sr., Grandfather Patrick Wilson and Great Uncle Clinton "Mystro" Faggs Jr.
Visitation will be held on Monday January 27, 2020 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church 475 E. Fairground St., Marion, OH 43302 from 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. with celebration of life immediately following. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery.
