Joseph D. Carr, Jr.

Joseph D. Carr, Jr., 75, of Prospect, Ohio passed away peacefully at Marion General Hospital on April 14, 2024.

He was born October 18, 1948, to the late Joseph Carr, Sr. and Georgia (Honaker) Farrow in Marion, Ohio.

In 1985, he married the love of his life Helen M. Carr, and she preceded him in death in April 2022. He was also preceded in death by sisters Sue Caskey and Judy Miller.

Joe is survived by his children Joey (Beth) Carr III of Ft. Garland, CO, Jamie (Shelley) Carr of Glen St. Mary, FL, and Joshua (Nicki) Carr of Marion, OH. Along with stepchildren Mark (Trisha) Conley of Marysville, OH, and Kimberly Millisor of Marion, OH. 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Joe is also survived by sisters Peggy Blevins of Marion, OH, Evelyn Lynn of Georgia, and a brother Jerry Carr of Marion, OH. Joe will be missed dearly by all, especially by his long-time best friend Russ Williams of Mt. Victory, OH.

There will be no service or Celebration of Life per Joe’s request.
