JoAnne Bullock

JoAnne Bullock, 70 years old, passed away on May the 11th 2021. JoAnne was born on May 2nd, 1951, in Marion, Ohio to the late Therman Bullock and Martha (Bullock) Clemmons.

JoAnne loved to pray and worship God. JoAnne was employed with Bargain City/Rinks until they went out of business. She earned her degree in Business Administration from Marion Technical College in 1990. JoAnne loved God and loved to cook and sing. She enjoyed cooking for her family and watching cooking shows. JoAnne was an avid recipe collector. She was famous for her 7UP salad, dressing, Danish cake, sweet potato pie, and BBQ. She enjoyed T-bone steaks from the Scotch and Sirloin, the yearly get togethers birthday of her close friends; Trisha Troutman, Gloria McDuffie, Janette Robinson, Barbara LaVette, and Lynn Mayes, The Fabulous 5! JoAnne is well known for raising her twins into being great men along with the help of Martha Clemmons and all her sisters.

She is survived by her twins; Markus Bovillion (Bullock) and Matthew (Naomi) Bullock, and special honorary son Oscar "Unique" Paz, and special honorary daughter Angela Gonzalez. Three sisters; Ebony Clemmons of Hilliard, OH, Sarah Collier of Charlotte, NC, and Thelma (Sally) Bullock of Columbus, OH. Her nieces; Simone Bullock, Staci Collier, and Toni (Tony) Ragland. Her grandchildren; Mykkia Bovillion, Allaya Bullock, Monique Bullock, Josiah Jobe-Bullock, Matthew Bullock Jr., and Yasmina Bullock. Her great grandchildren; Dontavious Dixon, and Nylah Brewer.

JoAnne was preceded in death by her mother Martha Clemmons, her sister Mary Belle Johnson and granddaughter JoAnne Aurora Bullock.

Public visitation will be held on Saturday May 22, 2021 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Mayes Community Temple 801 Bennett Street, Marion, OH 43302. Service will begin at 12:00 PM with Pastor Shawn Jackson presiding.
