Jim Marcum

Jim Marcum, age 64, of Marion Ohio passed away on Wednesday December 29, 2021.

Jim was born on December 8, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Howard and Della Marcum.

He is also preceded in death by his sisters Jewella and Rozella and brother John.

Jim will be very deeply missed by his wife Donna; whom he married in 1994, Son Byron (Samantha), granddaughter Hannah (Hannah bar-bera), grandson Christian (Nick), sister Kathleen (Steve) Van Dyke, brother Claude Marcum, brother-in-law Don Chandler, his nieces and nephews as well as his friends.

Jim was a hardworking man who did everything possible to provide for his family.

Jim enjoyed riding his motorcycle.  He was a NASCAR fan and had been to several races.  He took great pride in the upkeep and self-maintenance of his vehicles, especially his Ford truck.

Jim was a security specialist in the United States Air Force.

Visitation will be Tuesday January 4, 2022 3PM-5PM at Edwards Funeral Service 318 Mt. Vernon Ave., Marion, (with food platter included).  The funeral service will take place the following day, Wednesday January 5, 2022 at the funeral home starting at 10AM with burial to follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery.
