Jerry Gunnett

Jerry Lee Gunnett, age 72, Of Marion, Ohio, formerly of Kenton, Ohio passed away on February 21, 2025, at Marion General Hospital. He was born on October 2, 1952, in Kenton, Ohio to the late Harry Ellsworth and Wilma Audry (Caldwell) Gunnett.

Jerry graduated from Kenton Senior High School in 1972. Shortly after high school, he enlisted into the United States Air Force and proudly served 4 years.

On August 5, 1978, Jerry married the love of his life Pamela Jean Miller. They were blessed with 46 years together.

Jerry worked at United Technologies in Kenton along with various other jobs before going to work at Wyandot Snacks where he retired from. He enjoyed fishing, walking through the woods, taking pictures of nature and his family, he, also, enjoyed astronomy and spending time with his dogs Angelina and Buddy.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his sisters Linda Butterman and Judy VanBuskirk.

He is survived by his wife Pamela, his son Bradley Allen (Veronica) Gunnett, his granddaughters Dezarae Gunnett, Aarin Hitchens, and Lucia Avina, his grandsons Anthony Hitchens and San Juan Avina, his great grandson Jarreau Hitchens, his brother Mike Gunnett, and his sisters Connie Poling and Vickie (Rick) Brown.
