Jeremy Joseph King

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeremy Joseph King Sr., who departed this life surrounded by family on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at the age of 40. Born on Monday, July 2, 1984, he grew up in Sunbury, Ohio. Jeremy was a beloved father, son, and friend whose presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

A man of diverse interests, Jeremy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an ardent enthusiast of aquariums and particularly loved Oscar fish; their vibrancy and vitality mirrored his view on life. He enjoyed the companionship of his pet birds, and even taught some cockatiels to whistle the theme to Cheech and Chong. Many fond memories were made playing card games with family and friends, and he remains the all-time, undefeated champion of Monopoly.

Jeremy's mother, Lou Emma, preceded him in death, leaving him with cherished memories of love and guidance that he carried with him throughout his life.

He leaves behind his beloved children, Jeremy King Jr., Bianca King, Samuel King, and Jaxson King; father Joseph King; brothers Larry King, Shawn King, Randy (Starr) King, Robert King and Kenneth Seward; several close cousins; and many friends. Despite life's challenges, Jeremy maintained a loving bond with those close to him.
