Janice Elizabeth Chapman

Janice E. Chapman (Freeman), age 78, was born on March 06, 1943. She passed at Riverside unexpectedly on Wednesday evening February 2nd, 2022.

Janice loved roller skating, jitterbug dancing, and playing piano. She was an incredibly skilled seamstress and enjoyed sewing dearly. She graduated from Pleasant High School in 1961. She was employed at Marion Power Shovel, Eaton, and Kable Fulfillment. She was a gentle and kind woman and will be dearly missed by all.

Janice is preceded in death by Eugene Freeman (Father), Eva Freeman-Persinger (Mother), James Chapman (Husband), Donald Freeman (Brother), Peggy Jean Freeman (Sister), Pamela Abrams (Step-Daughter)

Janice is survived by Daniel Pierce (Son), Connie Pierce (Daughter), Christine Pierce (Daughter), Larry (Barb) Freeman (Brother) (OH), Ralph (Jenny) Freeman (Brother) (TX), Teresa (Dale) Farlee (Sister) (FL), and four grand-daughters, Nicole (Clayton) Tackett (OH), Faith (Jeremy) Holbrook (OH), Crystal Forster (NV), Jennifer (Fred) Blevins (OH), and many great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Wednesday February 9th, 2022 at Edwards Funeral Service 318 Mt. Vernon Ave., Marion, OH 43302  from 12 PM - 2:00 PM, with a service to follow directly after.
