Janet Eileen Sharp

Janet E. Sharp (Fleshman), age 86, resident of Marion County Ohio, passed away on November 22, 2024, in her home. She was surrounded by the presence and love of her children. 

She was born on January 24, 1938, to Irvin Fleshman and Lilian Fleshman (Bailey) in Johnstown, Ohio. 

Throughout her life, she was a loving and compassionate mother and grandmother. It brought joy to her to instill her love of nature and indigenous culture into every child in her life. Morel mushroom hunting and arrowhead hunting were among her favorite hobbies. She was also one of the most creative crafters and artists. Her specialty was painting beautiful women and scenery. Her artwork could sell for millions, but she was a humble soul and kept her art close to friends, family, and home. She was one with nature and a beautiful soul who could make something out of nothing.

Janet was also a lover of small poodle dogs. Brandi and Penny were her best friends and they will be wagging their tails with happiness to see her join them in the heavens. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers: Marvin, John, and Danny Fleshman. 

She is survived by her children Judy, Nina, Tina, Tracy, Leslie, Johnny; grandchildren Trina, Jill, Jennifer, Michael, Brooke, Bambi, Lindsay, Daniel, Scott, Donovan, Dustin, and Gregory as well as many great grandchildren.
