Helen Frances Hensel, age 89, of 308 Barks Rd. Apt. 124, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 3 at her residence. Born in Somerset, Ohio on Feb. 9, 1927 to the late John. W. Kline and Sara (Null) Kline. She was a graduate of Green Camp High School and the W.C.H. School of Nursing. She worked in the offices of Dr. Robert Gray, MD and at Marion General Hospital for 24 years as a registered nurse. On October 9, 1948 she was married to Vernon E. Hensel. Vernon preceded her in death in May of 2000. She was an active member of Green Camp United Methodist Church serving in numerous capacities for as long as her health would allow. She was a member of the Marion Senior Center and the White Cross Riverside Alumni Association.She is survived by her sons; Kevin of Marion and Regan (Pat) of Marion, two grandsons; Heath of Marion and Nolan (Erin) of Maumee and four great grandchildren; Alayna, Paxton, Finnian and Evelyn. Also surviving are two very special children in her life; Angie (Colin) Boyd and Adam Shoffner and their families. She was also preceded in death by her brother; Charles W. Kline and sister; Dorothy Weston.
