Elbert Riley Prince

Elbert Riley Prince, age 64, of Marion passed away Monday evening at his home. Born in Manchester, Tennessee on November 7, 1951 to Frank and Carol (Johnson) Prince, he married the former Karen Grooms on April 28, 1982 in Roskilde, Denmark. Elbert served his country in the United States Army during the VietNam Era and had been employed as a truck driver/mechanic. Surviving along with his wife; Karen are 3 children; Shelia (Gary) Ruble, Donna Prince and Michael (Sherry) Prince, a brother; Bruce Prince, 4 grandchildren; Dillon Lyons, Joselyn Prince, Genny Prince and Karen Mendenhall and 2 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted by the Marion County Joint Veteran's Council. If desired, in lieu of flowers, contributions in Elbert's memory may be made directly to his family.
