Donna Carol Mitchell

Donna Carol Mitchell, age 84, passed away on December 26, 2022, at Marion Manor. She was born March 27, 1938, to the late Amos and Rose Ann (Reaper) Tibbs in Superior, Ohio.

On March 15, 1974, she married Omar Mitchell. Together they raised four sons: Rick Thomas, Billy Don Thomas, Omar Mitchell, Jr, and stepson Doug (Shelly) Mitchell.

She retired from Whirlpool after 35 years of service.

She is survived by two brothers: Toney (Cheri) Tibbs and Dallas (Brenda) Tibbs. Her grandchildren: Thomas White, Jesse Thomas, Brittany Call, Lacey Mitchell, Saige Mitchell, and numerous great grandchildren. She is also survived by special friends Doris and Roy Music and Gwen Salyer, whom Donna cherishes immensely. She was especially close and raised with her cousin Jimmy (Pam) Reaper, he always had a special place in her heart.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister Jennifer Moore, a son Rick Thomas, and a grandchild Timber Mitchell.
