Danny Thomas Sprinkle

Danny Thomas Sprinkle, 72, of Marion, Ohio passed away at his home (Jamestown, Ohio) on Tuesday, January 10, 2023.

Danny was born on May 19, 1950, in Drift, Kentucky to Lloyd Daniel Sprinkle and Ruby (Sprinkle) Hall. Stepfather, Glenn Hall. After his father Lloyd’s death, Dan along with his mom and brother Rick Sprinkle moved to Ohio. He attended Marion Harding High School graduating in 1969.

He married his love, Brenda (Burris) Sprinkle on November 8, 1969. Together they built a life they loved. Their love for each other and the Lord gave them 53 years of marriage. The couple lived in Marion for most of their marriage before moving to Jamestown, Ohio in 2015. While in Marion, Danny was employed and retired from Whirlpool. He spent many years serving as a deacon (“Deacon Danny”) and Sunday school teacher to teens and adults. Those who knew him, knew his love for his family, his beloved Kentucky Wildcats but, most importantly his love for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Dan was loved and admired by his children Tina (Bruce) Upchurch and Brian (Chrissy) Sprinkle. He was PaPa to eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. All who will miss him greatly!

Danny is preceded in death by his parents Lloyd Daniel Sprinkle, Ruby (Sprinkle) Hall, Glenn Hall: parent in laws James and Marjorie Burris; brother in laws Jim Burris, Arden Kline, and Frank Burton; many other beloved Aunts and Uncles.

Dan is survived by his wife Brenda; his children Tina (Bruce) Upchurch, Brian (Chrissy) Sprinkle; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; his brother Rick (Sue) Sprinkle; brother and sister in laws: Margie (Phil) Napper, Terri Burton, Jane (Roger) Metz, Holly (Mike) Buchanan, Jeff (Sharon) Burris, Carol (Ron) Meade; and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
