Dale William Longsworth

Dale William Longsworth, 86, of Marion passed away December 23, 2017. Dale was born September 21, 1931 to the late Gilbert and Ida (John) Longsworth in Santa Fe, Ohio. Dale was a proud member of the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954. He has been married 49 years to his loving wife Janet Longsworth. He drove to church bus and was a song leader and member at Bible Holiness Church in Delaware, OH. Dale was a proud and loving father and grandfather. Surviving him include his wife, son in law Jerry Cassidy; sisters, Edna “Annabelle” McCollum and Evelyn Hoover and grandchildren Caleb and Kaitlin Cassidy. Preceded in death by parents, daughter Deborah Cassidy and siblings, Maxine, Onallee, Gene, Donald, Wilson and Carl. Visitation will be held Thursday December 28, 2017 from 4p-7p with a service to follow directly at Hughes-Allen Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Dayton National Cemetery at a later date.
