Connie Sue Kuhar

August 5, 1949 — May 30, 2018

Connie Sue Kuhar, 68, wife of Thomas Kuhar, passed away on May 30, 2018 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus.  She was born August 05, 1949 in Weeksbury, KY to the late Franklin R. and Reable (Mullins) Potter. She graduated from Harding High School in June 1967, and retired from Verizon in 2010. She liked watching the Cleveland Indians, and if Ohio State Football was on, the world was put on hold till the game was over, a true Buckeye Fan.

On December 7, 1996 Tom and Connie were married and have shared 22 years of love together. She and Tom enjoyed camping, and anything else they could do together. If there is such a thing a soul mates, it was Tom and Connie, almost like if you cut one of them, the other one would bleed. As her health started slowing her down some, she still would do everything that she could. Anytime one of them got sick, the other would be right there taking care of them, a true love couple.

She was a member of Women of the Moose Chapter 448 Marion, and had held many positions as either a chairman or an officer.

She is survived by her husband Tom, son Chad Walker, bonus daughter (as she always called her) Michelle (Kuhar) (Stacy) Hunt, her sister Jean (Ronald) Cochran, Faye Dutton, Tina (Mike) Barlow and brothers James Fred Potter and Ed Robert (Mary) Potter, all of Marion. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, Kristen Yannitell, Katelynn Walker, Cortlynd Emmons, Meranda Walker, Preston Emmons, Hailey Walker, Cole Dyer and Gavin Walker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Sheena Walker, sister Mary Potter, brother Steve Potter and brother in law Richard (Pepper) Dutton.

Family will receive friends on Monday June 4th, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm at Edwards Funeral Service, Hughes Allen Chapel at 318 Mt. Vernon Ave., Marion, OH. Funeral will be on Tuesday June 5th at 10:30 am at the same location, with burial at Grand Prairie Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made to her memory to Edwards Funeral Service Hughes Allen Chapel.
