Claudia Jeanne Wood

Jean, 73, was called home and left us peacefully on May 25, 2022. She was born August 31, 1948 in Marion City Hospital, Marion, Ohio to Howard A. J. Horn and Mary Ellen Cottrell.

She retired as a beautician from her salon within the Marion community. She always had the touch for making you look your best.

Jean is survived by her son Eric Horn, brothers Mike Horn, Steve Horn, sisters Rose Kelley Slemmer, Wanda Knaul, Ruth Johnston and granddaughter Jesstine Horn.

Preceded in death by her parents and her husband Jim.

Jean's final wishes are to be cremated without a memorial or funeral service.

We would like to extend our deepest appreciation to Kindred Hospice, the phenomenal nurses and aids for providing exceptional and much needed support and guidance. We are remembering Jean with donations to Kindred Hospice in lieu of flowers or other gifts.
