Charles LeRoy Glenn was born on August 21, 1946, and went to heaven on March 18, 2024. A life-long resident of Marion, Ohio, he was a member of Cavalry Bible Baptist Church for 42 years and retired from Whirlpool Corporation after 41 years of service.
A man of steadfast faith, Charles was a committed follower of Christ, finding solace and strength in his daily walk. His faith guided him through life's challenges and inspired those around him to live with humor, compassion, forgiveness, and grace.
He is survived by his daughter, Amy L. Glenn of Bucyrus, his two sons, Jason L. Glenn of Marion, Robert Charles Glenn (Adrienne) of Worthington, and five grandchildren, Colton, Gabriela, Grant, Jaelyn and Kailyn. Also surviving, one brother, Fran (Bonnie) Glenn of Delaware, and one sister, Marie Berridge of Adrian, MI. He was preceded in death by his five brothers, Clifford, Howard, Richard, Harold Jr. and Donald Glenn and his mother Evelyn Glenn.
There will be no visitation only a memorial service at Calvary Bible Baptist Church, 1419 Linn-Hipsher Rd, Marion, OH 43302. The service will be held on Friday, March 22, at 11am, to remember his life and bid him farewell. Family and friends will gather for a luncheon after for fellowship.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Red Cross or your local New Testament Church.
