Burgess Howard Jarrell, age 69 of Marion, passed away on January 24th, 2022 in the comfort of his home. He was born on January 28th, 1952 in Logan, West Virginia.
Burgess enjoyed working on his cars out in his garage, caring for his garden and going for a Joyride on his motorcycle. He also enjoyed collecting car models, and had accumulated a huge collection over time and placed them all around his house. In season, he loved gardening and growing his own fruits and veggies. Burgess and his wife could always be found at their home church, Heritage Bible Church on Sunday’s. Burgess loved his family dearly and loved spending time with them any chance he could. He will be remembered for so many things, especially his great sense of humor. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his Wife Linda C. (Orr) Jarrell; his children Jeff S. Jarrell and Kristy R. Jarrell; his grandchildren Mikayla (Alexis) Brown; Andreiz Brown; Cami Jarrell; Juan Ruiz and Zach Mild. His brothers Elvin Ray Jarrell (Penny); James (Jim) Edward Jarrell (Aurdrey) and Allen Dale Jarrell. His sister Dora Regina Jarrell- Orth (Phillip) and his multiple cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents Burgess and Elizabeth (Smith) Jarrell. His nephew Jimmy Allen Jarrell and his great-niece Elizabeth Dicler.
Calling hours will be held on Monday January 31st, 2022 from 12 pm to 2 pm at Heritage Bible Church. Service will then take place at 2 pm at the church with burial to follow at Grand Prairie.
