Brandy Lynn White

Brandy Lynn White of La Rue passed away on Monday morning December 28th, 2020 at her home. She was born in Kenton, OH to her parents Sherry and Lowell White. Brandy was proceeded in death by her father Lowell White, grandparents Annie and Robert Cobb, grandmother Shirley White, grandfather Ken Friend, biological father Kenny Friend and cousins Chad and Tim Cobb.

Brandy was a 2004 graduate from Elgin High School. Brandy Lynn loved all her animals more than humans (other than Grandma Cobb). She was our Barbie girl. Her goal in life was to be just like Grandma Cobb. Brandy was all about her family and friends. She would do anything for any of them. She loved being a stepmom and loved Karson and Mason like they were her own.

Brandy had battled with kidney disease since she was 15 years old. She had endured more than most at a young age. She handled it like a champ! She was very strong willed.

She is survived by her mother Sherry White, brother Joshua (Kelly) White, grandfather Herschel White, husband Brock Whitehead, stepsons Karson and Mason Whitehead, sisters Katie and Nikki Friend, Grandmother Jen Friend, multiple aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends she considered her parents, Rod and Sherry Wilson. Aunt Sandy Smith was also another mother to Brandy and made sure she got to her dialysis appointments.

Brandy loved bright colors and so we ask you all to wear your brightest clothes to her calling hours.

A walk-through ONLY visitation will be held on Sunday January 03, 2021 at Edwards Funeral Service, 318 Mt. Vernon Ave., Marion, OH 43302 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM, masks are required. Celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to the ASPCA in memory of Brandy Lynn White. The family asks for no flowers, please.
