Billie Allen Bowen

Billie Allen Bowen, age 78, passed away March 31, 2018 at his home with his family by his side. He was born May 19, 1939 to the late Hampton and Jennie (Maynard) Bowen. He is survived by four sons, Roger (Roslyn) Bowen, Daniel (Cindy) Bowen, George (Joyce) Bowen and Billie (Jamie) Bowen, all of Marion, daughter Anita (Bryan) Hunt of Newport News, Virginia; 11 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind one brother Edward Bowen. Preceding him in death are his parents, his wife Gaynell Bowen and 10 brothers and sisters. Billie was a very hardworking guy, who worked up until he was 75 years old. Anyone that knew him found out that he was respectful to everyone. He will be dearly missed.

Friends may call Thursday April 5, 2018 from 6-8 PM at Edwards Funeral Service located at 318 Mt. Vernon Ave., Marion, OH 43302. Services will be Friday April 6, 2018 from 10 - 11 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Barkley Stone officiating. Burial to follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery.
