Beverly Corainia Cole

Beverly Corainia Cole, a longtime resident of Marion Ohio, died Friday June 3rd, 2022, after a short illness. Born to Alexander S. McGee and Bloyduzer Waldt in Seminole County, Oklahoma on April 1,1930.

Beverly moved with her parents for her father’s work with the Pure Oil Company, living in Oklahoma, Michigan and settling in Illinois. While in her late teens living in Geff Illinois, she found the love of her life, Clyde Cole. They married on January 20, 1950 for 72 loving years until her passing. Beverly is survived by her husband Clyde Cole of Marion, Ohio and Son Steven Bruce Cole of Carrollton Texas. Her brother Alex McGee Junior preceded her in death. She is survived by her Sister Sally Lee of Barnhill, Illinois.

Beverly worked many years in Marion for the General Telephone Company. She enjoyed her work there as a secretary and then Executive Secretary. In 1969 Clyde and Beverly started Pleasant Acres Mobile Home Park and Sales.  Beverly retired with Clyde in 2000.

Her whole life she loved the Lord finding strength in Him. She attended Central Christian Church in Marion, Ohio.

Visitation will be held on Friday June 10, 2022 at Edwards Funeral Service 318 Mt. Vernon Ave., Marion, OH 43302, from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Service to follow at 12:00 PM with Marilyn Winters officiating. Burial to take place at Marion Cemetery.
