Betty went home to be with the Lord, on Friday, November 12, 2021. She passed peacefully in her sleep at Marion Point Nursing Home. Thank you to all of the Nurses, Staff, and Hospice Nurses that cared for her in her last days.

She was born November 27, 1936 to the late Rufus and Wilma (Oldaker) Cain, in Buffalo, WV. She graduated from Larue High School in 1955. She loved singing, crocheting, and her puzzle books. She went on to marry E. Russell McCoy, on June 26, 1956. A homemaker, together they had three sons, Charles Russell, Johnnie Ray, and Gerald Michael. She was widowed in 1995.

On February 16, 1997 she remarried to the late Robert F. Williams. Together, they enjoyed going to church, auctions and goodwill. They collected numerous angels, porcelain dolls, and bears. Robert preceded her in death in November 2020.

A proud mother and grandmother, she will be dearly missed. Along with her parents and husbands, she is preceded in death by two sons, Johnnie and Gerald, and a granddaughter, Charlotte Renee McCoy. She is survived by her oldest son, Charles (Cathy) McCoy, of Marion; A granddaughter, Amber Jean (Bradlee) McCoy; two step grandchildren, Joseph (Nicole) Moore and Valerie (Tony) Wiseman; 7 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; and a sister, Carol Ann (Ron) Gekler.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, November 18th at 11:00, Marion First Freewill Baptist Church, 1449 Crissinger Rd., Marion, Oh 43302. Funeral service will follow at Noon, officiated by Pastor, Rev. Jerry Copley. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery in Brush Ridge. Funeral Services provided by Edwards Funeral Home
