Alma Jean Lampkin, 57, was born in Whiteville Tennessee and moved to Marion in 1972. She went through the Marion School system and graduated in 1982 from The Harding High School. She loved playing softball, along with coaching her twin daughters. She really enjoyed fishing every chance she got. Alma donated her free time to helping with community projects and the Food Pantry. She loved doing activities and doing work for the Lord. The thing she loved the most was watching kids for family and friends.
Alma worked at Worthington Custom Plastics / Blackhawk for 17 years. She also worked for Wyandot Popcorn for 13 years Faithfully.
She is preceded in death by a grandmother; Lucy Douglas Queen, Grandfather; Ephen Douglas, Father; Charles McKinne, Step-father; Ben Hardon, Sister; Jamie Wylie Christie, Brother; Marvel Douglas, Son; John Lampkin, Daughter; Mary Lampkin, Brother-in-law; Michael A. Lampkin, Mother-in-law; Hattie M.L. Crim
She is survived by her Mother; Glayds Hurdon, Husband; James E. Lampkin Sr., Step-son; James E. Lampkin Jr., Daughters; Sa’te L. Douglas, Sa’de M. Douglas, Ju'athesha T. Lampkin, Brothers; Michael Hardon, Brian Hardon, Terrel Hardon, Brother-in-laws; Eric ‘Olivial Lampkin, Christopher (Beth) Lampkin, Sister-in-law; Constantine Biadoo, Sister; Robin Armor, Grandson; Rayshad Craighead, Granddaughters; Thaymyah Craighead, Samyah Macon, and a special friend though her journey Charlotte Taylor, and a host of aunts, uncles, tons of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A Homegoing Celebration will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday September 6, 2021 at the Mt Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 475 E Fairground St, Marion, OH 43302, where family will receive friends and guests from 12 Noon until the time of service.
The honorable Bishop Gregory Draper officiating. A meal will be served immediately following the Homegoing at the church.
