Alice May Pate

Alice May (Price) Pate, 57, of Marion, Ohio passed away December 3, 2024, at Marion General Hospital after a brief illness. She was born January 19, 1967, in Xenia, Ohio to Marion and Betty (Wright) Price.

Alice was a lifelong homemaker, a devoted wife to her husband, Perry “Pete” Pate, whom she married on August 4, 1990. They had spent more than 40 years together. She was a very loving sister, mother, and grandmother. Alice loved her grandbabies like no other and would do anything for them. She was a loyal friend to many.

Alice will be sadly missed by her husband Pete, of Marion, daughter Rehannon Ramos Cruz, of Marion, son Perry “PJ” (Sherri) Pate, of Paducah, Kentucky, stepson Jorma Douglas, of Marion; grandchildren Luis ad Emmijyn, of Marion, and Paisley, Piper, Patriot, Praise, and Psalm of Paducah, step-grandchildren Katie and Jorma Douglas, Jr. of Marion; brothers Lloyd Price of Arizona, Michael (Pam) Price of Florida, Marion, Jr. (Debbie) Price of Tennessee; sisters Wanda Flowers, Bonnie (John) Crabtree, Brenda (Rick) Adams, Judy (Russell) Albright, and Patricia (Jorma) Douglas, all of Marion, and several nieces and nephews.

Alice is preceded in death by her parents Marion and Betty, her brother William Thomas Price, and niece Rebecca (Albright) Sutherland.

There will be a graveside service on Monday, December 9, 2024, at noon at Chapel Heights Memorial Gardens. Brother Grover Caudill will be officiating.
