James Donald Rudd

James Donald Rudd, age 61, passed away on Monday January 03, 2022, at Marion General Hospital.

He was born on January 22, 1960, in Marion, OH to the late Minnie (Crace) and Marvin Rudd.

James is survived by his loving wife Kathy Rudd, daughter Jessica (David) Fabian, Crystal Donaugh, son Michael Edler, siblings Jack (Sue) Rudd, Shirley (Jim) Smith, Connie (Mike) Hall, Brenda Lucas, Sandra (Dale) Mckee, Ray (Dina) Rudd, grandchildren ; Matthew Hill, Carson Bowman, Chase Fabian, Gage Fabian, Daisy Ellinwood, Belle Landau, mother and father-in-law Gary and Brenda Lyons, two brother-in-law Gary (Shannon) Lyons, Kevin Lyons, sister-in-law Rose Rudd, grandma-in-law Barb Williams, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Minnie Rudd, son Matthew James Rudd, brothers Richard Rudd, Charles Rudd, nephews Chuckie Rudd, Charles Rudd, brother-in-law Dan Lucas, and grandpa-in-law Donald Williams.

James worked at Whirlpool since the age of 18, all the way up until he had to medically retire. He loved his family and grandkids dearly, as well as his dogs. James was a big jokester. Some of his hobbies include going to flea markets and auctions, fishing, gardening, and he loved his family dinners.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday January 11, 2022, at Edwards Funeral Service 318 Mt. Vernon Ave., Marion, OH 43302 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, service to begin at 1:00 PM with the burial to follow directly to La Rue Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made Cancer Society, or to the family to help with funeral expenses.
